1001 Inventions: 1001 Inventions

1001 Inventions (see also Independent Online Edition’s Top 20) [found via Slashdot | 1001 Islamic Inventions] is a traveling show of 1001 Islamic inventions. Most of them I knew about: coffee, science, medical and mathematics inventions, but the rest such as windmills and early experiments in flight were real eye openers. I guess it is standard knowledge the levels of science that came to europe after the crusades, but small pox vaccinations? Neat!
