One Degree: Stacey Grant-Johnson from Rogers Canada at the Interactive To The Max Big Day conference in Toronto, November 22, 2007 is asked about the iPhone coming to Canada.

Her answer is explicitly that they’d love to have it but Canada is just too small a market to be really on Apple’s radar, though in a previous section of the video, available through the link, her discussion of data rates still allows for the possibility that the problem is related to the high data rates in Canada.

Jeremy pointed me to this: My Tiny Life: Crime and Passion in a Virtual World by Julian Dibbell (Book) in Computers & Internet is now available for FREE as a download, or you can buy it on line: “Part memoir and part ethnography, My Tiny Life is about the social life of the online, text-based virtual world LambdaMOO and my own brief encounter with it in the early ’90s. Andrew Leonard, in Salon, called it “the best book yet on the meaning of online life.””
