Been there and done that.
K. So I had the interview. Four questions. Thirty odd minutes. Just to see if I get the interview proper. Q1: How would you teach a course called x? Q2: What graduate courses would you like to teach? Q3: What's your research about?
I wish they'd asked me my name too. Still flubbed the questions a bit. Can't be all urbane and on topic, and not ranting, when you're in panic mode.
Give me a job. Just a real nice tenture track job. And I'll be quiet.
