Playing with WordPressDash, the dashboard plugin for OS X. I’m not sure that I like dashboard things, but I’m trying to be a party player.

Not actually testing a new car! so much as a new black MacBook! Yuka’s G4Powerbook’s case was badly broken and it bent when you lifted it. I was worried about a motherboard shorting out or somethig. I’d promised her my iBook when I got a MacBook in the fall, but it just couldn’t wait. My worry was with the glossy screen, but it is not nearly as reflective as the other computers I’ve seen, and the trackpad is so nice. Now let’s just see if it all holds together.

I like the Dashboard weather widget. Seriously. I look at it & turn around and look out the window, and it's always right!!

Congratulations on the new MB. Will we be seening a photo of it soon? I'll be interested to know how you work with it because in macosx there has been a steady trickle of serious "my MB/MBP just stopped working for no reason" posts. It's got me scared. That and the prospect of getting viruses again.

ok, I'm playing with widgets to see if they're still upsetting. I just don't like how they slow down the puter. We'll see how the puter works. I assume that there will always be problems with new designs of puterness. But where would you suddenly get a virus? Not from your puter any more than the new one.
