Beauty=Brains? I don't think so...

That seems to be very interesting to find out. In my opinion, I do not think that there is any correlation between beauty and brain. I read an article in grade 12 English class, which compared oversized people with skinny people. If I remember correctly, the author mentioned something about how over weight people are far more friendly and happy than those who are fit and or skinny. (I may have still kept that article.)

By the way, mkreimer (me) is mila kreimerman, one of your students in your Tuesday's classes

There you are! Good to see you got things figured out. Strangely enough, I 'feel' that bigger people are more friendly than smaller people. I have no facts, just 'feeeeling'. Most of my small friends, like me, were somewhat neurotic and up-tight. I found that my bigger friends were more relaxed and inviting. That said, I would never extend that notion beyond my personal experience with the people I grew up with.

Consider what you just said "In my opinion, I do not think that there is any correlation between beauty and brain." To me that is saying "I feel there is no relationship." but you couched it in the language of being a truth. It is a good way to trick people. What evidence do you have to support your assertion, aside from a paper on another topic.

I have no data except one TV show I saw that suggested that good looks, like intelligence, helped us survive in the past, not because looking good made things easier but because what humans consider to be good looking is based on being the most fit to survive. I don't believe it because I saw it on TV, but it certainly is an interesting issue I must say.

Please bring this up in class, if I forget to. Thanks for your comment.
