Well, it would have been politically incorrect for you to not notice the similarities, beyond the superficial gender and racial differences, so to save the embarassment :)

Well I certainly didn't mean to enter into the realm of political incorrectness :)

Imagine meeting my brother and commenting on the fact that we looked like we came from different parents (even though the resemblaces are striking, it happens almost daily out of the sarcastic labour of friends and passers-by). Apologies for insensitiviy on my behalf.

I was looking forward to dinner as well! You may have heard of my conversion, which I was hoping to 'bring up'.

reasonable humour can be snarky and stupid from time to time. its gotten me into some 'unreasonable' situations with some 'unreasonable' people.

how about the next time you bump into my sibling and i you can make a snarky comment of your own! we'll be good then, no?

what's funny is that both you and s. read 'conversion' as "conversation"... its a good thing i don't have biological determinist leanings otherwise i would've read far too much into that ;)
