Midwifery Rhetoric Through the Ages: An Historical Romp to Prompt a Close Look at Contemporary Ideology and Belief Systems
Nicky Leap is Professor of Midwifery Practice Development & Research, University of Technology, Sydney. She has been a midwife since the late 1970s, practicing in England and Australia. Nicky is the Convenor of the Australian College of Midwives National Education and Standards Taskforce. Nicky is a well-known speaker at international conferences and workshops. Her publications include book chapters and videos and a book entitled The Midwife’s Tale: An Oral History from Handywoman to Professional Midwife.
