Jen just sent me to Dipity. “Dipity is the easiest way to make and share interactive timelines about the people and things you care about.” And it looks like an amazing tool for creating public timelines on topics in a collaborative manner. I’m trying to imagine how I’ll use it in my classes, but if I was teaching a history of ideas course, this would be great.

Yuka and I watched Tony Gatlif’s Exiles (Exils) tonight. I bought it a while ago, but hadn’t gotten around to watching it. It is about two people who walk out of their paris apartment with nothing but their clothes and basically walk to algeria in search of their roots. And hilarity ensues.
