I’ve been interested in OLED (organic light emitting diodes) for a long time. They can be flexible, thin, low energy using, etc. Here’s a neat article on what they are at Howstuffworks “How OLEDs Work”. I can imagine an entire wall made up of panels of OLEDs turning the wall into a window.
