We will have our first meet up on Tuesday February 26, 2008.

The plan (With thanks to James, who made the plan):

Dinner at Habesha on Wellington c. 6:30 (Ethiopian food which requires finger use)

XOs work at the Habesha, but if a mass don’t want to show up for dinner, Collective XO use at the Elmdale Tavern across the road from c. 8pm or when we get there.

OLPC meet in Ottawa

I'm sure this will be the first of many. It will be nice for the group to put a face to the names and indulge in collaborative learning. I will check the site after the meeting as I am sure it will be abuzz with answers and questions this think tank will provide. Have fun and learn large.

Ottawa XO kids klub

I have kids, ages 6 to 10, and can't get them satisfactorily excited about the xo. I would love to get my kids together with other Ottawa kids to xo-interact (read motivate each other to use the xo). Maybe we need an Ottawa xo kids klub (OXOKK) that gets together somewhere and kids learn from each other and get into it. If any one with kids 6 to 13 is interested, email me at 4xo@komokoa.com
