Just in the midst of the second lab for my wednesday section of EVE912 here at Ryerson University. Everyone seemed to get the bit about reflective journalism right away, and they're now all customizing their LJs, forming blogging groups, and setting their journals as friends only. I swear I didn't demand it, but it is going to be a neat experiment to see how people journal in closed groups rather than totally public. Blogging with students gets both easier and more interesting every year.

Hi Jason

This isn't really a comment to your post, however i am glad to hear that today's section of ECE912 are getting the hand of this live journaling... hopefully that means that there's hope for us all.. hehe

It's jmacedo from your Monday section of ECE912. I wanted to know if you would be able to email me the reading that we're supposed to respond to for our first journal response... I cant seem to open it up and i think that it may have to do with the fact that the URL ends in .doc....
I would appreciate it if you could email me the article...

Thank you

oh yeah jmacedo@ryerson.ca is my email addy

Hi Jason,

Pretty sneaky of you getting a posting in while we were all stressing about getting our lab assignment done. No one was checking on you to see what you were up to. I'm not surprised that students are aware of and concerned about the issue of privacy considering that we are so well versed in the issue of confidentiality as it applies to children/families, clients etc.

I watched you type out that very post though of course wouldn't read over your shoulder, that's not polite. We have to create that climate of respect in the room otherwise things just wont work (whatever that means).
Good on your for making use of the class time to update your blog. Have to blog when the words are there otherwise its not...the word escapes me. Certainly I enjoyed running around and getting a look at what everyone else was doing and even doing some of my own 'work' somewhere in there.
