I like taking photos at the crack of dawn. I had to wait for a bit for the sun to get up this far, this morning. But it was worth it.

What time did you get up in the morning to take the picture?? I bet I was still sleeping at that time. I have some awesome pictures from when I went to Australia by the "Rock". We had to get up 3 mornings in a row at about 5:30/6:00am, it was pretty tiring but worth it!!!

perhaps when you are old you will come to love the morning. it was always a mystery to me, cause I was up all night. now I sleep early and wake early, and it is so beautiful.

In that case you might want to check out what the world looks like shortly after 10pm (since you sleep early). I posted it in my journal.
You made me realize that I sleep most of my life away, but I can't help it - for me sleeping is beautiful.

thank! I figure that taking good pictures has nothing to do with technique... aside from turning on pin-spot metering. It is just sitting around looking at stuff until you find something that tickles your fancy.
