Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO) and OISE/UT are
hosting an event to recognize World AIDS Day next
week.

The Orphan Crisis in Sub-Saharan Africa:
A Volunteer’s Perspective

The evening will begin with a video presentation
outlining the HIV/AIDS pandemic through the lens of
the orphan crisis in Uganda. Following the film,
returned VSO volunteers will share their experiences
from Namibia, Zambia, and Malawi in a panel
discussion.

Date: November 30, 2005
Time: 7 – 9 p.m.
Location: OISE/UT, 5th Floor, Room 175

Also, at 7:30 p.m on December 1, World AIDS Day, there
will be a special event at the Great Hall, Hart House,
with a welcome by David Naylor and keynote by Dr.
